Hoover Dam and Las Vegas!!!

At the campground this morning, we watched a western show by the railroad tracks.

We enjoyed the stay in Williams, Arizona. We were told that the climate will change where we were going, probably 25 degrees warmer.
We stopped at Hoover Dam. Very impressive, huge!!! And yes, it was very hot.

We walked on the high bridge.
Yes, this bridge...

Then we headed to Las Vegas. The reason for Vegas on the itinerary is for Joey. We have the address for the place he lived for a year and a half with his mom and grandma, when he was about 6 years old. They aren't living there anymore, but Joey remembers living there, and it means a lot to him.
We stopped at the visitor's center, and this was one of the campgrounds that was recommended. The pool was definately what we were interested in. The place was quite impressive, we could have imagined we were in a resort in Mexico or somewhere like that, it is very, very nice.

  Pizza for supper...

and while we are here, we may as well drive through the main street.
At adventure island, there is a huge lake with thousands of lights that are arranged to go with the music. Beautiful! we slowly drove past while they were playing
"God bless the USA "
