The Grand Canyon

 On the drive to the Grand Canyon we drove past the Colorado River Gorge.

 

 And through the town of Gap, our hometown.  :)    We stopped for Gas here.

 The Grand Canyon is 277 river miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and a mile deep. We were at the south rim. The size was massive. We went up the tower, and could see really a lot of it.

 At the information we learned that there were no campsites available with hookups. We were weary travelers and wanted the comforts of a nice place to stay. Besides, we had hiked the beautiful Bryce canyon that morning and were about canyoned out. We found this campsite online at Williams, AR an hour from the Grand Canyon,
so we decided to go there.
