4th of July

This is the lighthouse at the State Park we camped at. Cape Blanco.

We meandered down the road, the scenery was amazing!!! The coast, small towns, lighthouses, beaches, rocky coastline. We were able to tour the inside of this lighthouse.
Conquille River Lighthouse.

 Umpque River Lighthouse

We noticed sand dunes, and signs for Sand Dune State park, etc. At the visitor center we learned that the largest coastal sand dunes are here in Oregan.
We went past this place that had tours, etc.
We turned around...

It was like a 35 minute roller coaster, kind of, yet it was even more scary, because we were flying over these huge sand dunes, around the water, down big drop offs. Knowing that there were other people out there, too, on 4wheelers, jeeps, etc...
It. was. wild. crazy. fun!!!

 Heceta Head lighthouse.

Camped at a state park on the beach.
We walked out to the beach at sunset to watch fireworks. It was cold!
What a beautiful, beautiful place.
